ABOUT SHARON CURTISS
I am so happy you are thinking about relocating to the Coastal Delmarva area. Moving here in 2000 was one of the best decisions my husband and I have made. We get to be near the ocean, beach, fishing and all the great activities the shore lifestyle has to offer. When it comes to real estate, my approach to selling is simple and straight forward. I will provide you with information about the current market based on the facts, not an opinion of what a neighbor thinks. I am dedicated to keeping your best interests in mind when negotiating the sale and have earned my Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designations through additional education and training courses. I invite you to contact me as I'd be happy to assist you with this important transaction. My email address is sharon@sharoncurtiss.com.

BIO
I am a licensed REALTOR® in Maryland, Delaware and Virginia. I also have my Associate Brokers license in Maryland, and have earned the designations of Accredited Buyer Representative, Graduate REALTORS® Institute and Performance Management Network through my dedication to continuing education. I service Ocean Pines and Ocean City, Maryland, plus surrounding areas in Worcester County, MD, Sussex County, DE and Accomack County, VA. I represent both buyers and sellers and have represented a new home builder in the Captain’s Cove subdivision on the Eastern Shore of Virginia for several years. I have the experience and knowledge needed when building a new home. Recently, I have been representing reo, foreclosures, and bank owned properties and have access to the entire inventory for the Coastal Delmarva region. Before becoming a REALTOR®, I worked for a major financial institution for 20 years where I held many positions from customer service, banking center manager, sales manager to project manager. This past experience gives me a thorough understanding of the lending process. I provide my clients with the highest level of customer service to make the real estate transaction as smooth as possible from the initial search through settlement.
Since getting into the real estate business, I quickly learned that establishing a solid network of industry professionals was going to help me serve my clients best. I joined the National Women’s Council of REALTORS® in 2001 which connects me with more than 16,000 real estate professionals across the country. WCR is the twelfth largest women’s organization in the country as well. After becoming involved on a local level, I found that it helped me get to know other area REALTORS® on a more personal level which helps make transactions go smoother which in turn helps both my buyers and sellers. Women’s Council is all about developing leaders and I have taken advantage of what they have to offer by becoming a local chapter officer since 2003. I am now the 2011 President for the Maryland State Chapter and serve on our local Coastal Association of REALTORS® as a Director on the board. Being involved in these organizations allows me to grow both personally and professionally.
